Today, Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Narek Mkrtchyan received Shimon Panek, co-founder and executive director of the "Man in Need".
During the meeting, the directions of cooperation in the field of social protection were discussed, the results of the joint programs, as well as a number of issues related to existing programs.
Highlighting the role of sectoral cooperation with NGOs, Minister Mkrtchyan praised the contribution of the latter in supporting the work carried out in the field of social protection. The latter spoke about the effective experience with partner organizations and emphasize the role of programs in cooperation with the "Man in need" NGO in this context. Narek Mkrtchyan also detailed the range of services provided to vulnerable groups with a delegation of the state, noting that the ministry allocates about 1.3 billion drams.
During the conversation, the Minister also touched upon the Czech Deputy Prime Minister, the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Marian Yurecka, within the framework of which the possibility of exchanging the best practices of sectoral interests were considered.
Shimon Panec presented the activities of the "Man in Need" organization, the implemented programs and the planned works. He also presented the experience of the Czech Republic on the involvement of non-governmental organizations in the field of social protection, social housing, vulnerable groups and a number of other programs.
The parties also touched upon the work carried out in cooperation with the state and non-governmental organizations during the war and post-war period. Narek Mkrtchyan stressed that despite crisis situations, the state is constantly implementing multilateral reforms.
During the meeting, a number of issues related to ensuring social justice, as well as the development of the institution of social workers were discussed.
