The Speaker of the Iranian Parliament left for a visit to Beirut

Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf left for the Lebanese capital Beirut on Saturday, Mehr reports.

Before traveling to Switzerland, Ghalibaf arrived at Beirut airport to speak with Lebanese authorities and declare his support for the resistance movement and the resistance of the people of that country to the crimes of the Zionist regime.

“I arrived in Beirut at the invitation of the Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament, Nabih Berri, to convey a message from the leader of the Islamic Revolution and the President of Iran to the people of Lebanon and the Resistance,” Ghalibaf said upon his arrival in the country.

After meeting with Lebanese authorities, Ghalibaf will travel from Beirut to Geneva this evening to attend a meeting of the Inter-Parliamentary Union.
