Trump declined a televised debate with Harris

Former US President Donald Trump refused a new debate with Vice President Kamala Harris. The Republican presidential candidate wrote about this on the Truth social network in response to Fox News' proposal to organize debates on October 24 or 27. "The process has already gone too far. voting has already started. There will be no rematch," Trump wrote, adding that Harris recently said he wouldn't do anything different than Biden, meaning he doesn't think the debate makes sense. Trump said he accepted Fox News' A previous invitation to debate Harris on Sept. 4, but he declined. He also noted that his popularity among voters is growing, especially in key states. On September 10, a televised debate between Harris and Trump took place in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. They were organized by ABC News. After that, Trump said that he refused to hold a new round of debates because "it's too late". The vice president, in turn, said that he is ready for a new round of debates with his opponent. The US presidential elections, as is known, are scheduled for November 5.
