The President of the Right to Health NGO, Anush Poghosyan, commented on the statement of the Minister of Health, Anahit Avanesyan, on her Facebook page, according to which 110 thousand electronic prescriptions were written out, issued on a paid basis, of which about 34 thousand were served.
“The Minister of Health of the Republic of Armenia announced from the podium of the National Assembly that 110,000 prescriptions were written out, but 34,000 were used. And so, 110,000 prescriptions in 1 year, that is, 306 prescriptions in 1 day, there are 14,600 registered doctors in Armenia, that is, 0.02 prescriptions per doctor per day.
The irony is that only 34,000 prescriptions were written to real patients, and the remaining number is due to the fact that doctors wrote prescriptions for themselves, nurses, and grandmothers in order to learn ...
