Ukrainian troops lost more than 400 soldiers in one day in the area of responsibility of the "Western" group of forces. This was announced by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, TASS reports.
"The units of the Western Army Group occupied more advantageous lines and positions, in the territories they defeated the manpower and equipment of three mechanized, mountain assault brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, two territorial defense brigades and a national guard brigade.
"The losses of the enemy from the settlements of Dvurechnaya, Glushkovka, Zeleni Gai, Novosinovo, Donetsk People's Republic, Torskoye and Yampol of the Kharkiv region amounted to more than 400 soldiers," the message says.
In addition, according to the department, the Armed Forces of Ukraine lost five combat armored vehicles, including two M113 armored personnel carriers of US production, seven vehicles, five field artillery, two of which were from NATO countries, as well as: electronic warfare station.
