US Secretary of State Marco Rubio ordered to immediately freeze almost all foreign aid programs for 90 days.
Politico writes about this. "The order that shocked State Department officials appears to be related to the financing of military aid to Ukraine," the publication says.
A current State Department official and two former Biden administration officials told the publication that the suspension is likely aimed at ending aid to key allies such as Ukraine, Jordan and Taiwan.
At the same time, the document states that foreign military financing of Egypt and Israel will continue.
