Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan writes:
Dear citizens of Yerevan, many of you are aware that last year we bought 171 new buses and 15 new trolleybuses. Most of them are already in operation and serving our city.
"Nevertheless, we need new drivers to fully involve all existing vehicles in the routes. I know that you still have the problem of waiting for transport at bus stops, and I assure you that we are doing everything to solve that problem.
In 2025, we plan to acquire another 45 new trolleybuses, and at the moment we are actively negotiating to acquire 250 new 18-meter buses. These steps will make it possible to further improve the quality of public transport service," he wrote.
