President of the Chamber of Advocates Simon Babayan writes:

Today, at the mediation of the Chamber of Advocates of the Republic of Armenia, 31 opposition members of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia appealed to the Constitutional Court to challenge the constitutionality of the problematic provisions of the Tax Code concerning advocacy.
In particular, with the application submitted to the Constitutional Court, it was requested to determine the conformity of Article 254, Part 3, Clause 3 of the Tax Code with Articles 29, 60, 61, 64, 67, 78, 81 of the Constitution. and adopted by the RA National Assembly on June 12, 2024, "On Amendments to the Tax Code of the Republic of Armenia" No. Compliance of Article 16, Part 1 of Law HO-285-N with Article 73 of the Constitution."
