OSCE/ODIHR observers can still participate in the presidential elections of Belarus, the representative of the Republic's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Anatoly Glaz, said on Wednesday.
"There are announcements regarding the invitation to the OSCE ODIHR election observation mission, we remind you that a corresponding invitation was sent on January 17 by the ODIHR," he told reporters.
According to Glaz, the arrival of OSCE observers is of no fundamental importance, as more than 450 international observers from 49 countries are accredited to monitor the elections.
Early voting for the presidential elections will take place in Belarus from January 21-25 inclusive, January 26 is the main day of voting.
