Iran, in negotiations with the Ukrainian side, denied the accusations that Tehran is participating in the Ukrainian conflict. This was announced by the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the republic, Esmail Baghai.
"When accusations about Iran's role in the Ukrainian conflict appeared, we discussed it both with Ukraine and with those who made such accusations. We have repeatedly reiterated our position that the conflict is a destructive step in negotiations with European countries.
If there were at least some documents or evidence of Iran's involvement in the Ukrainian conflict, we would be ready to discuss it," the diplomat said at a weekly briefing, but did not specify when exactly Tehran was in contact with Kiev.
Russia and Iran have repeatedly rejected the versions of the supply of Iranian weapons by the Russian military in Ukraine.
