The haste shown in signing the Charter of Strategic Partnership between Armenia and the USA is clear. with this document, the USA sends greetings to the presidents of Russia and Iran, who are preparing to sign a comprehensive strategic partnership agreement in Moscow on January 17. Political scientist Hrant Melik-Shahnazaryan wrote about this.
A careful reader of the Armenian-American document will see that there are many provisions disturbing (if not threatening) Iran and Russia. The signed charter, in fact, makes Armenia a tool for the implementation of US control programs in the region, which can be used against both Moscow and Tehran at any moment.
And this will at least mean opposition. Unfortunately, Armenia continues to be a place of conflict of interests of geopolitical centers, which contains many dangers for us.
The Armenian authorities are consistently escalating relations with Russia and Iran. It does not look like a refusal to cooperate, but a specific conflict. What can Armenia gain from that conflict? Of course, only new losses.
And what are the guarantees that our country can withstand in virtually all these conflicts with Azerbaijan, Turkey, Iran and Russia? There are no such and no guarantees. Therefore, what is the real goal of Pashinyan's government?
Last evening, Pashinyan and Mirzoyan brought the war one step closer to the borders of our country. I am afraid that it is inevitable anymore.
I am sure that Azerbaijani diplomats have been standing in front of the doors of the Foreign Ministries of Russia and Iran with the regulations signed between Armenia and the USA since 6 o'clock in the morning. A few days ago, Aliyev assured that the possible war for Syunik will not be directed against Moscow and Tehran. From today he will say that this war is for their interests. And, in a sense, it will be true.
This is what Pashinyan and Mirzoyan did yesterday, I am sure, at the same Aliyev's behest. As a result, the USA solves its problems, Azerbaijan solves its problems. And all this again at the expense of Armenia.
