Fizo will not go to Kiev to discuss gas transit

Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fizo will not go to Kyiv on Friday at the invitation of Vladimir Zelensky to discuss gas transit. Tibor Gaspar, the deputy speaker of the Slovak Parliament, who represents the party of the Slovak Prime Minister, told TASS about this.

"Prime Minister Fizo published an open letter to Zelenskiy yesterday and invited him to negotiations, that he should come to Kyiv on Friday," he said.

Earlier, Fizo proposed to Zelensky to hold a meeting on the territory of Slovakia, near the state border of Slovakia with Ukraine. According to him, "the meeting will create good conditions for the open discussion of gas supply issues through the territory of Ukraine to Slovakia and other countries".

Zelensky, in response to the invitation of the Prime Minister of Slovakia, invited him to personally come to Kiev.
