Three new F-35 fighters from the US have arrived at a Danish air force base

Three more F-35 fighter jets arrived in Denmark from the USA. This is reported in the press release of the armed forces of the kingdom.

The planes took off from Luke Air Force Base in Arizona, stopped in the Azores and landed at Skridstrup Air Force Base. Their delivery is on schedule. As planned, a total of 17 F-35 fighters have been produced for the kingdom, of which 11 are already in Denmark.

The remaining six are used to train pilots and technicians at an air base in Arizona.

Denmark has purchased 27 F-35 fighter jets from the United States, which will replace the F-16 fighters that the kingdom has used since the 1980s.
