Yonhap. South Korea's presidential guard wears tactical gear

Members of the security service of the President of the Republic of Korea were allegedly seen patrolling the residence, Yonhap reported.
According to him, this happened "against the background of increasing tension after the court again signed the arrest of the president".

The agents are believed to belong to the CAT Squad, the "Attack Back Team". They wear helmets, masks, sunglasses and rucksacks, which the agency says look like weapon bags.

However, Yonhap emphasizes that there is no confirmation whether the weapon was actually there.

Acting President Choi Sang-mok said Monday that police and President Yun Seok-yeol's security guards must avoid violence at all costs after a second attempt to arrest him.
