The President of Moldova, Maya Sandu, announced on Thursday that due to the energy crisis, Ukraine is ready to supply Moldova with coal for the production of electricity.
Sandu, along with Prime Minister Dorin Rejan and Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebryan, are on a working visit to the Transnistrian security zone on Thursday, where they visited several settlements affected by the energy crisis.
Previously, Rechan stated that the right bank of the Dniester could face a power shortage, as 65%-70% of the required volume today is covered by the MGRES, which is located in the unrecognized territory of the Transnistrian Republic of Moldova.
