Average activity caused by acute respiratory infections was recorded in Armenia between December 30 and January 5.
This was reported by the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention, noting that during this period, 2,758 medical patients applied to primary health care organizations with HCV, compared to the 5,146 recorded cases of the previous week, the morbidity decreased by 1.8 times, and the number recorded in the same period of 2024 was 4,682. it decreased by 1.6 times compared to cases.
85% of the total cases were registered among people under the age of 18. The HCCA noted that 267 patients with pneumonia applied to primary health care organizations during the specified period, compared to the previous week's number of 663 cases, the incidence decreased by 2.4 times.
75% of all cases are under the age of 18. During the mentioned period, 62 patients with severe acute respiratory infections and pneumonia were hospitalized in intensive care units, compared to 38 in the previous week, it increased by 1.6 times.
According to the data of the center, 34 cases of coronavirus were recorded in the last 14 days, which increased by 9 cases compared to the same period last year.
10 of the cases were recorded in the last 7 days, which is a decrease of 14 cases compared to the previous same period (24 cases).
