The lawyers of the President of the Republic of Korea Yun Seok-yeol consider his arrest warrant illegal and invalid.
This is reported by Yonhap agency. "It is difficult to accept. The arrest and search warrant, which was issued at the request of an investigative agency that has no authority to investigate this crime, violates the law and has no force," Yoon Seok Yeol's lawyers said.
They also believe that, according to the precedents, the decision should have been given by another court. The security service of the president informed that if the order is implemented, "it will act according to the law". The law enforcement bodies had informed earlier that the decision on further actions has not been made yet.
