The President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, announced that he ordered the republic's airlines to suspend flights to 10 cities of the Russian Federation for an indefinite period, based on security considerations.

"We have also suspended the flights of Russian airlines from 3 Russian cities to Azerbaijan. So, our air communication with 10 cities is currently suspended, and I say again, security issues are in the foreground," Aliyev said in an interview with AzTV. :
