During the meeting, Azerbaijan's Deputy Foreign Minister Yalchin Rafiyev invited Asad Hasan al-Shibani, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Transitional Government of Syria, to visit Azerbaijan.

It is reported that Rafiev is now in Syria in order to strengthen the relations between the two countries.

It is noted that al-Shibani accepted the invitation "with pleasure" and "expressed his satisfaction with the opportunity to regularly see the representatives of Azerbaijan in Syria".
