Turkey is sending an investigative team to Baku to investigate the downing of the Azerbaijani plane, as reported by Trend, Turkish Minister of Transport Abdulkadir Uraloglu announced this.

"At the request of the State Agency of Civil Aviation of Azerbaijan, in connection with the accident of the passenger plane of "Azerbaijan Airlines" in the city of Aktau, Turkey is sending an investigation team of 8 people to Baku to investigate the causes of the disaster and perform a technical and operational analysis.

Our team will leave for Baku this evening and will continue to work in coordination with the Azerbaijani authorities to investigate all aspects of the incident.

Turkey declares that it will always be by Azerbaijan's side, we express our condolences to the families of the victims and wish recovery to our Azerbaijani brothers," Uraloglu said.
