Just one day after this announcement, on December 20, the anti-corruption coalition of civil society organizations of Armenia /CSO/ issued a statement regarding the fight against corruption in Armenia, where, among other worrying assessments, the following fact was recorded: "According to the data of Transparency International, 2021-2023 . During this period, the Corruption Perception Index (CPI) of Armenia fluctuated between 46-49 points, which is 4-1 points lower than the threshold of 50 points that excludes the existence of systemic corruption.
According to the estimates of the international anti-corruption expert community, the indicator below 50 points indicates the presence of systemic corruption in the given country.
This fact once again confirms that SYSTEMATIC CORRUPTION IN ARMENIA IS NOT YET DEFEATED."
