Peskov. The Russian Federation has not and will not interfere in the events of Georgia

Russia has not participated and will not participate in the Georgian events, but it watches with surprise the European intervention in the affairs of Tbilisi. Press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov announced this on the air of "Russia-24" TV channel.

"We have not interfered in any way, we do not interfere in the events of Georgia, therefore, the only thing that surprises us here is the completely open interference in Georgian affairs, the attempts to put absolute shameless pressure on the Europeans and the Georgian authorities, of course, have already gone beyond the limits. Kremlin spokesman said.

He also noted that the relations between Moscow and Tbilisi are now "absolutely not being built".

"We are not the ones advising the Georgian authorities, we will not do that, however, I am sure that we should be a little patient here, and the president will answer all the questions with the appropriate interest of the journalists," added Peskov.
