Euromedia24.comfollowed the material published in the press, according to which the classrooms of Noyemberyan State College are heated by means of rusty wooden stoves and perforated pipes. Our news team tried to understand why classrooms are heated with wood stoves in the 21st century, so we contacted Karen Nazaryan, director of Noyemberyan State College. The latterof Euromedia24talked about the heating system operating in the college and the upcoming changes.

According to Karen Nazaryan, currently one part of the college is heated with electricity, and the other part with wood stoves, and professors and students do not complain. "There is no need to spend big, considering that in 2025 the college should be completely renovated. It is wrong to think that the stoves that heat the classrooms are old and have leaky pipes, because the stoves are renewed every year. The classrooms at the college have always been heated this way and there have never been any problems. Now the college has installed solar energy plants, 3 plants with a capacity of 46 kW. And starting next year, all classrooms will be heated with electricity," the college director noted.

The director emphasized that the college building is old and typical and, naturally, the classrooms had to be heated under those conditions. According to him, the college is now energy independent, but in the near future all classrooms will work only with electricity. It remains to be hoped that in the next academic year, students will attend an institution with better conditions and a heated building.
