Prince Andrew is going to leave Great Britain. The Daily Beast

Prince Andrew may leave Great Britain after the "espionage scandal" with a Chinese businessman. The latter is considering the possibility of moving to the countries of the Persian Gulf, writes the American edition of the Daily Beast, citing two close friends of the prince.

Earlier, the British court revealed the name of Prince Andrew's confidant, who was suspected of spying for China. It turned out that he is 50-year-old Chinese businessman Yang Tenbo. The latter denies all the accusations brought against him.

"Andrew is tired of being portrayed as an outcast in the British press and is seriously considering moving to the United Arab Emirates or Bahrain. None of us would blame him if he decided to follow Prince Harry and leave," the prince's friend was quoted as saying.

Another close friend of Andrew's added that the prince had "a wide range of contacts" and could lead a productive life in the region. In particular, he has been a regular visitor to Bahrain for decades, where he was hosted by King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
