US sanctions against Serbia will not force restrictions against Russia. Vucic

The US decision to impose sanctions on a Serbian oil company will not affect Belgrade's decision to refuse to join the anti-Russian restrictions.


As "TASS" informs, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic announced this. "Would anyone like us to impose sanctions on Moscow and then consider lifting the American sanctions? I don't exclude this possibility, but I have no evidence.


As the President of Serbia and the Chairman of the National Security Council, at this moment I am not at all ready to discuss possible sanctions against Moscow... We have survived for almost three years by pursuing a principled, serious and responsible policy, in which we have acted from the beginning by adhering to the principles of peace and international law, respecting We have followed the UN Charter and have not imposed sanctions against the Russian Federation," said Vucic.


Earlier, Vucic announced that the US is imposing sanctions on the Serbian oil industry company due to Russian ownership of the company, which is the most difficult news for the country in the last few years.
