Alarm sirens sound in Israel after ceasefire with Lebanon approved

Air raid sirens sounded in the north and center of Israel in connection with rocket fire from Lebanon, the Lebanese Hezbollah movement launched rockets a few minutes after the Israeli Cabinet approved the ceasefire, the Israeli army press service reported.

"Sirens have been sounded in several areas of central and northern Israel due to shelling from Lebanon, the public should continue to follow the instructions of the Home Front Command," the statement said.

The alarm was activated in dozens of localities from Haifa to Hadera.
