Maria Zakharova, spokeswoman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, during the weekly briefing, referred to Russian-Ukrainian relations and stated that Russia is ready to consider any realistic peace initiative related to the Ukrainian conflict, which will take into account Russia's interests and the situation on the ground. According to him, Russia is open for negotiations.
"We are open for negotiations. Of course, we are ready to consider any realistic, non-politicized initiative," Zakharova said, stressing that Moscow will consider such negotiations only taking into account its own interests.
