"The cuts, which will affect around 14% of Ford Europe's workforce, will mainly affect the German and UK businesses until the end of 2027," it said.
It is noted that this will happen after consultations with trade unions and governments. According to the agency, the cuts are due to the decline in popularity of electric cars.
