The French ambassador was summoned to the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry

On November 20, French Ambassador to Azerbaijan Anne Boyon was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan.

During the meeting, disagreement was expressed with the fact that France targeted the presidency of Azerbaijan at the 29th conference of the parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29).

In addition, the ambassador was told that France's supply of weapons to Armenia, "preaching militarism and revanchism" are undermining the peace process.
"France is strictly required to put an end to the actions against Azerbaijan, which endanger the process of normalization of relations," reads the message of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.

Let's remind that on November 19, the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to France, Leila Abdullayeva, was summoned to the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs of France. the reason is the unacceptable statements made by the Azerbaijani authorities against France and Europeans.

According to the department's message, as a result of all this, the French Minister of Ecological Transition, Energy, Climate and Risk Prevention, Agnès Panier Runacher, had to cancel his participation in the UN COP29 conference in Baku.

"Azerbaijan's hostile actions must be stopped," the message says.
