Deputy Pentagon spokesperson Sabrina Singh, when asked about changes in Russian nuclear weapons policy, said that the United States is not at war with Russia.
"Let me be clear: we are not at war with Russia," Singh told a briefing.
At the same time, Singh stated that Russia is allegedly responsible for the escalation of the situation around Ukraine.
On Tuesday, the decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin “On approval of the foundations of the state policy of the Russian Federation in the field of nuclear deterrence” was published. The document states, among other things, that the condition determining the possibility of Russia using nuclear weapons is the massive take-off of aerospace attack weapons, including cruise missiles and drones, and their crossing of the border of the Russian Federation.
