Russian President Vladimir Putin will visit India, Moscow and New Delhi will start preparations for the trip. According to the Russian TASS agency, the press secretary of the head of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Peskov, announced this.
"I hope that we will soon decide the exact dates of his visit. Our leaders exchange visits," Peskov said, according to the Indian agency ANI.
"Of course, after Prime Minister (Indian Narendra) Modi's two visits to Russia, we are now planning President Putin's visit to India, so we are looking forward to it," he added, without giving details about the dates of the Russian leader's visit.
Peskov said that preparations for the visit, which Moscow attaches great importance to, will begin.
The Prime Minister of India paid a two-day visit to Moscow in July, during which the 22nd Russian-Indian summit was held. In October, Modi visited Kazan to attend the BRICS summit.
