On the night of Tuesday, September 8, Russian forces launched strikes on Kiev using drones and ballistic missiles. According to local authorities, the attack killed two people and injured 10 others.
Five of the injured were hospitalized, two of them in serious condition, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said on Telegram. According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES), there was damage and fires in at least five districts of the capital.
Rescuers continue to clean up the aftermath of the shelling.
