Iran plans to attend the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly if the United States fulfills its obligations and issues visas to the Iranian delegation in a timely manner, according to Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei.
"We plan to attend this meeting, of course, if the host country fulfills its obligations and issues visas in a timely manner in accordance with the agreement," he said during a press conference.
He said Tehran intends to use this platform to clarify Iran's position on current issues.
