The number of people missing in Nepal's devastating floods has reached about 2,500. It is noted that more than 2,000 people have not been contacted since the disaster.
According to the latest data from the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Department of Nepal, 517 of the missing are foreigners.
At the same time, the death toll from the floods has reached 616. According to the country's police, rescuers have managed to evacuate and save at least 1,545 people, including many injured. Rescue operations are continuing, but they are significantly complicated by the risk of new floods.
