At the stage when the process of forming a new government is underway, the ruling team is preparing public opinion to continue the tenure of the current prime minister, throwing into the arena a tried and tested political trick. The representatives of the ruling elite, justifying the leader's desire to stay in office, again refer to the "experience of advanced democratic countries" and cite the examples of European leaders, in particular, Angela Merkel's many years in office, as justification.
This is not the first time when the leadership team turns to the "civilized world" model to legitimize their political ambitions and decisions. The same logic applies when justifying the high salaries and abundant rewards of the officials of the state apparatus, or when the service car fleet is renewed. all that is presented as the need to comply with international standards. However, a legitimate question arises here. and when will that "European standard" be extended to the everyday life of an ordinary citizen?
When will we have quality content and real knowledge in the field of education, not just externally renovated and painted school buildings? When will we form such armed forces, where the priority is the life and safety of the soldier, not PR videos and demonstration shots, and where tragic accidents and suicides will be excluded?
The answer is, perhaps, more than obvious. According to the government's logic, the main problem of the public is not the systemic shortcomings, but the "deep socio-psychological" complexes, the way to overcome which the country's leadership is still looking for. let the ruling elite continue to live, work and enjoy "high European standards" with their high incomes and comfort.
And the society, watching that "civilized" life on the screens, will perhaps understand that social problems are only in perceptions, and will automatically solve all its psychological obstacles.
