A 24-year-old man was beaten and robbed in Saint Petersburg. This is reported by Gazeta.ru, referring to the statement of the main department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the region.
The incident took place on July 18, on Rubinstein Street. Two strangers attacked the young man, beat him and took the premium headphones, the value of which is estimated at 65 thousand rubles.
The victim appealed to the police, after which a criminal case was initiated in connection with the incident, under part 2 of Article 161 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, on the charge of robbery.
A few days later, the law enforcement agencies managed to track down one of the suspects. It turned out that he is a 24-year-old resident of Saint Petersburg. The suspect was arrested on July 24. The stolen headphones were found and confiscated from him.
The arrested person was taken to a temporary detention place. Law enforcement agencies continue to search for the second.
It was reported earlier that a resident of St. Petersburg robbed a bakery employee, but lost the stolen items due to a hole in his pocket.
