Turkey hopes for a cease-fire in Ukraine, despite the difficult situation, and believes that the prospects for conflict settlement are preserved, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said. "Maybe the light is already visible in this deep darkness. Therefore, we have hope," Fidan said at a press conference in Kyiv.
He noted that Ankara continues its diplomatic efforts and hopes for the resumption of the negotiation process. According to him, Turkey has not lost the hope of achieving a ceasefire and a political settlement of the conflict, despite the ongoing difficulties.
The minister emphasized that Ankara will continue to work with all parties to find ways of peace.
