According to a senior diplomat in the Persian Gulf, the violation of the cease-fire between Iran and the United States indicates ongoing risks.
The source noted that both sides are "changing diplomacy and containment" but they do not want to go back to war, which would create a lose-lose situation for both Iran and Washington.
