The 36th NATO Summit of Heads of State and Government will begin in Ankara on July 7. During two days, the presidential complex in Ankara will host the leaders of the 32 member states of the bloc, as well as thousands of diplomats, journalists and other participants of the forum. The agenda of the summit includes the strengthening of NATO's deterrence and defense positions, Euro-Atlantic security, defense spending, strategic development goals of the alliance, as well as regional and global security issues.

Within the framework of the summit, bilateral meetings between the leaders and a number of side events are also planned. All necessary preparations for the forum in Ankara have been completed, including the provision of security, logistics, communication and technological infrastructure. Esenboga, Ankara and Murted airports will be used to host official delegations. An International Media Center equipped with 1,800 workstations, 40 editing rooms, more than 100 live broadcast points and 11 press conference rooms for Turkish and international media representatives has been opened in the National Presidential Library.

The summit, held under the presidency of Turkey, is expected to provide an effective platform for discussing the security challenges facing the Alliance and will serve as a basis for making important decisions aimed at strengthening cooperation between the Allies.
