Hundreds of Russians stuck in Japan

About 600 Russian citizens cannot leave Japan due to the breakdown of the cruise ship Spectrum of the Seas, writes RBC, citing messages from passengers. “The cruise ship Spectrum of the Seas broke down in the Japanese port of Yokohama, passengers told RBC from Russia. They estimated the number of Russians on board at 500-600 people,” the publication says. As the publication notes, the ship’s arrival in Shanghai was initially expected on November 9, but it was unable to leave the port due to technical problems. “Currently tentative. arrival time is November 11, but all Russians have their return tickets to Russia expired,” RBC clarifies. As reported by Royal Caribbean International, passengers will be compensated for the entire cost of the cruise.
