Tehran's airspace will be closed on Monday during the farewell ceremony of former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, the head of the country's civil aviation organization, Abuzar Shiroudi, announced.
"On Monday, during the farewell ceremony for the body of the late supreme leader of the revolution, Tehran's airspace will be completely closed and no flights will be carried out," Shiroudi was quoted as saying by Iran's state broadcaster.
The farewell ceremony and funeral of the former supreme leader of Iran Ali Khamenei will take place on July 4-9, the farewell ceremony and funeral ceremony will be held in Tehran on July 4-6, the funeral ceremony in Ghome on July 7, and the funeral in Mashhad on July 9.
