A person with a higher status in the criminal hierarchy has taken over the resolution of a private dispute. The preliminary investigation of the criminal proceedings has been completed. This is reported by the Investigative Committee. As a result of the large-scale procedural and evidentiary operations carried out during the preliminary investigation of the criminal proceedings being investigated in the Main Department of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia for the investigation of particularly important cases, the JA, who has the highest status in the criminal hierarchy, undertook the resolution of the dispute related to the private issue of non-disbursement of 1 million 400 thousand AMD.
In particular, PG appealed to JA, who has the highest status of the criminal hierarchy, in order to resolve the dispute related to the private matter of DA's failure to provide 1 million 400 thousand AMD owed to DG in exchange for carrying out construction works, after which JA instructed DA to return the specified amount to DG by December 1, 2025. After that, J.A. learned that D.A. did not fulfill the obligations assumed by him, involving A.G., who is a person belonging to the criminal subculture, on January 16, 2026, he organized a meeting in the restaurant complex owned by him, during which, as a result of A.G.'s petition, D.A. was given 7 months to fulfill his obligations, obliging him to transfer the specified amount as an illegal benefit. During the preliminary investigation, by the decision of the supervising prosecutor, a public prosecution was initiated against JA, who has the highest status in the criminal hierarchy, under Article 322, Part 1 (maintaining the highest status in the criminal hierarchy) of the Criminal Code, and against AG, under Article 324, Part 1 (participating in a group carrying a criminal subculture).
Administrative control, bail and ban on absenteeism were applied to them as preventive measures. The criminal proceedings against JA and AG have been sent with the indictment to the supervising prosecutor, with a request to send it to the court for confirmation and examination. Notice: the person accused of a crime is considered innocent until his guilt is proven in accordance with the procedure established by the Code of Criminal Procedure by a legally binding court verdict.
