One person was killed and 13 injured when a single-engine light plane collided with a skyscraper in Beijing, according to a statement issued by the Chaoyang District government on Saturday.
"The single-engine, two-seater light-engine aircraft crashed into a high-rise building near the eastern section of the Third Ring Road in Chaoyan District at 5:55 p.m. (12:55 p.m. Moscow time) on June 26," the statement said.
The pilot, who was the only person on board, was killed and 13 others were injured at the scene.
