At its meeting today, November 7, the government approved the procedure for the tender for the granting of permission to carry out commercial activities in customs control zones and duty-free shops.

It is stated in the justification that, according to the current regulations, the implementation of a commercial operation, the movement of goods, vehicles, the entry and exit of persons, including officials of other state bodies, in the area of ​​the customs control zone can only take place with the permission of the customs authorities.

The permit for commercial activity in the customs control zones is provided on the basis of a tender, as a result of which the authorized body of the state property management sector or the head of the community signs a direct lease agreement with the winning participant.

The draft specifically envisages defining the scope of persons carrying out commercial activities in customs control zones: the requirements for the implementation of commercial activities in customs control zones: the procedure for organizing and conducting a tender for commercial activities in customs control zones.
