The current government has turned the restriction of freedom of speech into a tool of repression. Beginning in 2024, criminal courts gradually began to use restrictions on freedom of speech as a deterrent (under the deterrent of "administrative control").
From the beginning, its application had a partial nature, as it referred only to some manifestations of public speech. It also had a progressive character, as it replaced prison or house arrest. Gradually, the restriction of speech became an independent repressive measure.
