Criminal proceedings have been initiated in connection with the incident that took place in Saint Anna Church in Yerevan today, under Article 297, part 1 (hooliganism) and Article 452, part 3 (interfering with the legal service or political activities of an official) of the Criminal Code.
This is reported by the Investigative Committee. It is said that at this moment 3 people have been arrested.
Let's remind: today, March 29, during the intra-party campaign, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan toured the Kentron administrative district with party members, and then attended a mass in St. Anna Church.
When the Prime Minister was leaving the church, an incident was registered with the participation of several citizens, one of them tried to hit Nikol Pashinyan from behind.
The Prime Minister calmed everyone down and urged them to stay put.
