US President Donald Trump has stated that he would prefer to reach an agreement with Tehran on Iran's nuclear program and has again threatened to use force against the Islamic Republic.
"I am the decision maker. I would rather have an agreement than not, and if we don't, it will be very bad for that country and, unfortunately, for its people. Because Iranians are wonderful, and nothing bad should happen to them," the American leader wrote on Truth Social, referring to the possibility of US military operations against Iran.
On February 17, the second round of nuclear negotiations between Iran and the US took place in Geneva, with the mediation of Oman.
The new round of meetings between the Iranian and US delegations is planned to be held on February 26 in Geneva.
