On February 18-19, Kazakhstan's President Kasim-Jomart Tokayev will leave for Washington on a working visit, where he will participate in the first session of the Gaza Peace Council. This was reported by the press service of the head of Kazakhstan.
"On February 18-19, 2026, President Kasim-Jomart Tokayev, at the invitation of US President Donald Trump, will go to Washington on a working visit to participate in the first session of the Peace Council," the statement said.
The press service noted that "the summit will focus on the stabilization of the situation in the Gaza Strip, as well as the development of practical steps to ensure peace, security and sustainable humanitarian assistance in the region."
Tokaev also planned a number of meetings with representatives of American companies in the United States.
