Russian President's Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov reminded of the nuclear non-proliferation regime, calling it the cornerstone of nuclear security.
Earlier, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, commenting on the possibility of nuclear weapons appearing near Iran, stated that Turkey will have to join the nuclear arms race if nuclear weapons appear in any country in the region.
"There are regimes of non-proliferation of nuclear weapons, and naturally this is the cornerstone of nuclear security," Peskov told reporters, commenting on the Turkish Foreign Minister's statements.
