The White House is unhappy with Israel's actions aimed at expanding its control over the West Bank, on the territory of which the Palestinian National Authority operates. Referring to his source in the American administration, Axios portal reporter Barak Ravid said on the X social platform.
As the source noted, the American administration stands against such steps that could lead to the annexation of the West Bank by Israel.
"The stability of the West Bank allows Israel to maintain security. It (stability) corresponds to the position of the American administration in achieving peace in the region," the interlocutor added.
